The
Al and Ed
Music Show
With more than 200 Gold and Platinum records and over 14 Grammy Awards
between them, recording engineer/producers Al Schmitt and Ed Cherney come
together to host a half-hour music talk show, broadcast from downtown
Hollywood at Capitol Studios. The Al and Ed Music Show takes an intimate
behind the scenes look with music's greatest and most influential artists,
actors, musicians, record producers, engineers and record executives.
Al and Ed's extensive recording experiences and irreverent humor inspires
their guests to open up and share rare and never before told stories of
their successes and setbacks, as well as confessing their intimate thoughts
on the music industry.
The show premier episode features multi-Grammy winner/Toto guitarist Steve
Lukather, and is followed with Don Was - one of music's most prolific
producers, having produced more than eighty albums while wining two of
the twenty-four Grammy's for which his projects have been nominated. Episode
Three features the iconic yet reclusive Geoff Emerick, the multi-Grammy
winning engineer for the Beatles,
Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello and many more.
